My career began in academia, where I earned my Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine. On January 1, 2001, I made a life-changing decision to move to Canada with a U-Haul from Windsor and take up a postdoctoral position at the University of Western Ontario. While I experienced success in research, financial constraints and language barriers led me to reconsider my career path.

Intrigued by the rise of Google and paid advertising, I started exploring search engine algorithms, leveraging my expertise in big data analysis to understand ranking mechanisms. This curiosity led me into Affiliate Marketing, where I managed substantial ad spending and generated income that soon surpassed my postdoctoral salary.

In 2006, I made the decision to leave academia and pursue digital marketing full-time. I quickly advanced from a digital marketing manager to vice president, working on high-profile projects, including Microsoft’s official success story.
