At the 2016 Canada-China Cross-Border E-Commerce Forum, I had the privilege of presenting the topic How to Apply Digital Marketing to Boost Your Business to over 400 attendees. As President of Noah Digital and Vice-Chairman of the Canada China e-Commerce Alliance (CCEA), I was excited to share insights on digital marketing strategies that can help businesses expand their reach and succeed in cross-border e-commerce.
The forum, held from November 6-8, 2016, in Toronto, was designed to strengthen economic and trade communications between Canada and China, with a particular focus on e-commerce opportunities. The event brought together entrepreneurs, suppliers, purchasers, and other business experts to explore how products, technology, and services from both countries could be combined to create thriving e-commerce businesses. Discussions revolved around cross-border trade, e-commerce expansion, and development.
The event was organized by:
- China International Electronic Commerce Centre of the Commerce Ministry of the People’s Republic of China (CIECC)
- Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB)
- Canada China Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Association (CCESCA)
- Co-organized by the Canada China Ecommerce Alliance (CCEA), where I serve as Vice-Chairman, alongside Chairman Oliver Gu, who is also the VP of Sales and Operations at Noah Digital.
It was especially meaningful for me to reconnect with 140 attendees from the Canada China Ecommerce Alliance, many of whom had been students of the Digital Marketing training courses that Oliver and Mary developed and taught back in 2010. The event felt like a wonderful reunion of both old and new friends.
